FIELD OF STUDY: PRE-SCHOOL AND EARLY SCHOOL PEDAGOGY – UNIFORM MASTER’S DEGREE STUDIES
SKILLS ACQUIRED
- planning, conducting and documenting classes run by a teacher in a kindergarten and grades 1-3 of primary school,
- individualizing tasks and adapting techniques and methods of work to the needs and capabilities of students, including students with special educational needs,
- preparing and conducting classes in integrated groups,
- planning, conducting and assessing the work of students during English lessons in kindergarten and grades 1-3 of primary school ,
- cooperation with other teachers, parents and specialists supporting the development of the student.
ADVANTAGES OF THE STUDY PROGRAMME:
The curriculum, which integrates knowledge in the fields of pedagogy and psychology, includes:
specialty courses:
- which refer to pre-school and early school education and methodology ;
internship system:
- 270 hours in kindergartens and primary schools, enabling practical preparation for the teaching profession (observing, assisting, individual teaching in the preschool group and in grades 1-3 of primary school);
a block of courses preparing for teaching English in kindergarten and grades 1-3 of primary school:
- with an additional integrated English language course, enabling those interested to take the appropriate exam and obtain a certificate (at the Pearson Test Centre at ANS in Elbląg);
block of courses in inclusive education:
- which equips students with the skills of: organizing inclusive education in an educational institution, applying working methods in diverse groups, diagnosing students’ educational needs, developing individual curricula;
the possibility of studying abroad within the framework of international student exchange (Erasmus+ Programme),

The graduate is qualified to occupy the position of a kindergarten and primary school teacher, grades 1-3 . The place of employment will be: preschool institutions and primary schools (grades 1-3).
