Admission to studies

• candidates, who have the status of a student in Ukraine
  (persons with Ukrainian or Polish citizenship and university student status in Ukraine)
  
• candidates, who do not have student status in Ukraine
  (people who intend to start their studies at the Silesian University of Technology from October 1, 2022)

can take part in regular recruitment.

All persons who do not have Polish citizenship (including holders of the Pole's Card) may take part in recruitment in accordance with the rules applicable to foreigners.

People affected by the war in Ukraine can count on additional support, e.g. exemption from the recruitment fee, individual treatment in terms of the type and deadlines for providing the required documents. Overview

Industrial and engineering chemistry at the Silesian University of Technology is interdisciplinary course combining mathematics, chemistry, biology and computer science allows to gain knowledge in the fields of engineering and technology, as well as a good knowledge of technical English. More specifically, the courses provide students with broad foundations and specialized knowledge and technical skills in important technological areas of Chemical Technology & Process Engineering.

Lectures and exercises are integrated into all years to develop problem-solving skills and deepen the students’ understanding of the material. The programs of the studies have been designed to meet the demands from employers for highly capable, creative and skilful engineers and research scientists, prepared to tackle diverse complex problems of chemical industries.

The study program includes among others the following modules:

• Process thermodynamics,
